Shelli Johannes-Wells founded bilan, inc. after leaving Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting) where she worked as a senior manager in Organizational & Human Performance Consulting. She combines her MBA, where she specialized in Marketing & Organizational Communications, with over fifteen years of business experience that includes: marketing/public relations, strategy, corporate communications, copywriting and consulting.

Since starting bilan in 2000, Shelli has established an extensive clientèle list which includes many corporations such as Spanx, Goody, Accenture, Delta, and Bank of America. Other clients include non-profits as well as small- to medium-sized businesses. In addition to her marketing, she has published many non-fiction articles in periodicals.
 
In her spare time, Shelli is passionate about writing books for children of any age. She currently serves as the PR specialist for the Society for CHildren's Book Writers (SCBWI's GA Chapter). Feel free to visit www.srjohannes.com to read about her fiction projects.
