bottom line we provide "customized quotes" that outline costs by the project or by the hour depending on the services requested or needs of the client. we base our prices on the recommendations listed in the Writers Market Deluxe Edition and the Graphic Artists Guild's Handbook of Pricing and Ethical Guidelines (11th edition).
budgetswe offer a family & friends 10% discount to referrals and a 20% discount to all non-profitswe offer special discounts to authors and 30% to current members of SCBWI. we offer discounts to "repeat clients" when they utilize more than three serviceswe offer periodic discounts in our newsletter (the coupon must be mentioned during LOA) binding we guarantee our work. we require payment within 30 days net after work is accepted. we charge a 10% fee for every 30 days past due. we require a signed Letter of Agreement (LOA) before projects can begin. we require a 30%-50% deposit, unless otherwise noted in the contract or discussed. we provide proposals in writing that are valid for 30 days from proposal date. we adjust all of our fees based on the market rate quarterly. we are happy to match competitive bids if they are within the pricing ranges recommended in the Writer's Market or The Pricing & Ethical Guidelines Handbook. we reserve the right to charge "rush fees" for various projects depending on timeline. we reserve the right to charge "kill fees" for any projects canceled after the work has begun. we reserve the right to utilize sub-contractors for any contracted project. we require clients provide us with at least one final sample of work contracted.we reserve the right to use any client comments about products or services as a testimonial. |
